Smith & Western Birthday Meal

For our Birthday meal we went to the Smith & Western restaurant in Box Hill, Surrey. They do the biggest and best steaks in the area. As you will see, none of us are vegetarians so those of you of a non meat-eating disposition had better not go any further for fear of offending you with tales of delicious dead cow eating.

Our Meal

For starters we had a Nacho Platter which was big enough for all of us to share.

For our main meals we all had steaks, except Paul who got a burger, although this is no ordinary burger, its two 6oz burgers in a bun with toppings, fries, side salad the lot. Even he could not finish it.

As ever. We had steaks. Michelle had the 20oz T-bone and Joanne had the 8oz sirloin. True to form the steaks were delicious with loads of fries and side salad.

Mam also had a 20oz T-bone and Greg had an 8oz sirloin both cooked to perfection.

For pudding we ordered a Birthday Buster. We're not going to describe it, just see the pictures below.

Having a quick legal lager before our meal we met up with this guy. He didn't say much but didn't mind having his picture taken with us either.

Here we are sitting at our table waiting for our food to arrive. We got the cowboy hats for free as it was our birthday.

Here's another picture of us with Paul. As you can see it wasn't his birthday so he didn't get a hat, (ha ha ha). By this time we were starving. Bring on them steaks!!.

Here is the Birthday Buster. Its so big we got one between the five of us. After finishing her steak Michelle said she didn't want much pudding but still managed to eat the most, (she must have hollow legs or something). When the staff brought the Birthday Buster to the table they all came together and sang Happy Birthday To You. Great when your twelve but a little embarrassing when your eighteen. The pudding was delish by the way.
